Privacy

WISE does not collect identifying information about You (such as Your name, address, telephone number, or email address) unless You voluntarily submit that information to us through our Contact Us page, our Test Your Financial Literacy registry page, registration page, online surveys, or other means. WISE may ask users to provide their contact information, as well as certain identity codes, job title and function, information required to perform credit verification, and other relevant information or preferences. We treat identifying information You submit to us as confidential and do not sell or otherwise disclose such information to third parties.

Contact Us:

The Contact Us page is the primary means of communication with WISE staff for a website visitor. Website visitors may use the Contact Us page to send content suggestions or questions about any of the areas of the site directly editorial staff and programmers. Website visitors may also use this form to ask general/specific questions (about financial literacy, the programs of WISE, the annual conference, volunteering, events related to financial literacy, the Website or content), submit notification of broken links, communicate privacy concerns, and/or submit praise and/or complaints. All comments are seen by the manager of the website and manager of the financial literacy programs who, along with other staff and volunteers, handle all content-related issues and may use these comments, for instance, as ideas for generating new content. All technical and operational issues pertaining to the website are forwarded to the website’s programmers and technical consultants for handling.

Test Your Knowledge:

Each school is given a randomly generated user name and password. These identifiers allow the results of each school to be lumped together for the purpose of statistical analysis. Individual results (including the results of each student’s tests) are not individually distinguishable from other individuals taking the tests at the same school. First and Last names are optional, and individual results are given statistical relevance using the zip code, city, and birth year fields on the sign in form. Additional demographic information requested is provided at the sole discretion of the test taker, and is used for statistical purposes.
